On May 11 and 12, 2010, the intellectual property managers of our company participated in the "National training course for agents of New Agricultural Plant Variety Rights" jointly organized by the Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the China intellectual property training Center.
Eight experts from the Science and Technology Development Center and training Center of the Ministry of Agriculture gave lectures on the current situation and prospects of international plant variety protection, agricultural patent application and examination and approval process, basic knowledge of agricultural plant variety protection, application and examination and approval of new agricultural plant variety rights, general situation of international plant variety protection, introduction of DUS testing of new agricultural plant varieties, and writing of application documents for agricultural plant variety rights.
By participating in this training meeting, our company's attendees received comprehensive intellectual property training and gained an in-depth understanding of the field of international new plant varieties, which laid a solid foundation for the protection of new varieties and patent work in the future.
