Through the creative application of many methods and techniques, such as the combination of molecular technology and conventional breeding techniques, the combination of three-line method and two-line method, and the comprehensive application of morphological improvement and intersubspecific hybrid technology, great progress has been made in two-line hybrid rice breeding, high stigma exposed germplasm resources innovation, dominant group matching, safe seed production and so on. The application of these scientific and technological achievements will promote the development of hybrid rice technology in China, promote the large-scale popularization of hybrid rice with high yield, high quality and multi-resistance, and produce greater and better economic and social benefits.
