The team of the National Japonica Rice Engineering and Technology Research Center attended the 2014 annual meeting of the International Union for the Development of Hybrid Rice
From March 16 to March 21, 2014, Dr. Yang Fei, deputy director of the National Japonica Rice Engineering and Technology Research Center, together with the personnel of the company's Scientific Research Department and Import and Export Department, was invited to the International Rice Research Institute of the Philippines to attend the 2014 annual meeting of the International Hybrid Rice Development Union.
During the meeting, General Manager Yang Fei and his entourage listened to reports from domestic and foreign experts on the development status and future prospects of hybrid rice, and had in-depth exchanges with their counterparts around the world on rice technology. The National Japonica Rice Engineering and Technology Research Center will, as always, devote itself to the development of the global hybrid rice cause, solve food problems, and safeguard food security.
