The key Laboratory of Japonica Hybrid Rice of the Ministry of Agriculture of the National Japonica Rice Center was invited to participate in the 2014 working meeting of Rice Biology and Genetics and breeding.
The meeting was presided over by Hu Peisong of the China Rice Institute. Cheng Shihua delivered a speech and summed up the meeting, and three academicians, Zhu Ying, Xie Huaan, and Chen Wenfu, attended the meeting. The main contents of the meeting included the introduction of the progress of the rice biology and genetics and breeding laboratory, the interpretation of the first draft of the evaluation rules of the key laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture, and matters needing attention in the operation and management of the laboratory. matters related to the implementation of the basic work of the construction of key laboratory conditions, and focused on the discipline group matrix, technological process, and so on. The meeting pointed out that all laboratories should make preparations for the evaluation in 2015, and it is hoped that each laboratory will hold an academic committee meeting to convey the spirit of this meeting and conduct in-depth discussion and research on the key parts.
