The National Japonica Rice Center held a work summary meeting in the first half of 2015.
In the morning, Tori, Minister of Scientific Research, presided over the meeting for the work briefing of each unit. The person in charge of each experimental station reported on the work of breeding and variety approval in the first half of 2015 in the form of PPT, summarized the problems existing in the work, and put forward a work plan for the second half of the year.
In the afternoon, the scientific research seminar of the center was held, and Li Zhibin, director of Tianjin Experimental Station, presided over the meeting.
First of all, the relevant researchers reported on the training of SNP genetic analysis technology in the Philippines and visited MIDM Company in South Korea and the development of agriculture in South Korea.
All the staff of the Ministry of Scientific Research discussed the problems existing in the work in the first half of 2015 and determined the next work plan and priorities.
This mid-term meeting further clarified the breeding objectives and pointed out the general direction for variety breeding in the future.
