The teachers and students visited the rice three-line seed production field, the rice test base and the seed processing workshop of our company. Various varieties and techniques in the seed production field, demonstration varieties in the experimental base, and other rice professional knowledge.
Teachers and students' understanding and study of our three-system farming and experimental bases are in line with the needs of their internship courses.
The company's researchers also explained in detail to the students the relationship among the three rice lines, the planting time of their parents, the methods of adjusting florescence and the types of hybrid plants, and the breeding methods of low-generation seed selection nursery, high-generation seed selection nursery, restorer line selection nursery and maintainer line selection nursery of conventional rice.
The characteristics of the demonstration varieties, the knowledge related to the seed production of two-line hybrid rice and the common diseases and insect pests of rice, and explain the high-yield cultivation and management techniques of rice on the spot.
This study arrangement is the first time for teachers and students of Nanjing Agricultural University to visit, study and complete their related courses.
